Selesti were delighted to be approached to help improve the online administration of a training database and front end website for Lincolnshire Training Primary Care Trust. The functionality requirements were extremely wide-ranging in the first instance, encompassing every aspect of training course information being displayed to the reporting, managing and editing of the courses.

Due to the nature of the client, the number of users and their varying IT literacy had to be considered, it was essential that we were adaptable and accepted there would be certain fluidity within the specification. As more was learned about what the user experience was going to entail, changes needed to be made and a whole host of cost-effective and quick workarounds devised and implemented.

The secure management system which sites behind the scenes of their site empowers the administrators to oversee and report on every course undertaken by each of the 5000+ registered users of the site. Work is ongoing as we develop new reporting tools and functions for them to help streamline and/or automate processes wherever possible.

A good example of the constantly evolving requirements we are called upon to facilitate is the recent need to report on the ethnic diversity and disability status of all the staff registered to attend their courses and training modules.
