Magazine moves content online behind subscription paywall with Selesti
Selesti have commenced a web design and development project for Arts industry - a traditionally offline magazine looking to offer considerably more subsrcription based online content behind a paywall.
Due to the subject of their publication being arts and culture, the look and feel of their activity online is naturally of paramount importance, and we're delighted they felt our award-winning creative digital services would meet their artistic visual requirements perfectly.
Almost equally crucial to the success of this project is developing for their staff an easy to use content management system, something of a speciality here at Selesti towers. We are going to deliver a bespoke administrative application for them, enabling drag and drop content re-ordering, point and click text and media editing and more user-friendly tools. The idea being it's intuitively simple to operate, and requires no reliance on Selesti input to keep the site up to date, meaning maximum return on investment.
The pages on the site will include a recruitment section where Arts Industry can advertise job vacancies, along with any supporting documentation and the ability for prospective candidates to apply.
Amongst the other technology due to be rolled out is a comprehensive banner advertising management module on the site. This will put some clever tools in Arts Industry's hands such as being able to deliver ads from multiple advertisers and ad networks across multiple online locations, controlling them all from one interface. The reporting suite will allow them to track and compare the performance of their ad campaigns and their conversion rates, along with lots of straightforward easy functions too like exporting statistics to excel for custom reporting.
Search marketing is planned for commencement at the end of this initial project, both Search Engine Optimisation and Pay Per Click marketing will be offered in a complimentary campaign by our Google AdWords ceritifed professionals.
The publication chose our digital marketing services over some stiff competition, in no small part thanks to our experience working with publishing giant Schofield Media, a couple of our many projects for whom you can read about here:
