Bookings are ready to be taken on the all new Wheatacre Hall Barns website, designed and developed by Selesti.

The luxury accommodation, situated in beautiful rural Norfolk/Suffolk border, offers converted barns with hot tub, games room - all with working dairy farm on the doorstep of course! You can even buy milk, ice cream from the cows you see that morning.

Selesti were tasked with improving on the incumbent website which was successful in terms of conversion of traffic to bookings, but left a lot to be desired in the administrative process, and content management options.

In addition to streamlining the procedure for those who administer the site, a powerful booking management system was developed, perfectly tuned to meet the requirements and nuances of the accommodation and business, something which an off the shelf software product would never be able to cater for.

A central calendar offers management of all price tariffs (with the option for various break types, checking in and out/changeover days of course) as well as automatically keeping all availability across the multiple rooms up to date.

Because of the glorious setting of the holiday properties, a high visual element was established early on as a key factor in the success of the look and feel of the web design. Selesti created a Media Place Holder which dominates the top of most pages, enabling the administrative users to add, edit and remove the hi res pictures which do all the selling of the facilities and surroundings.

A huge amount of information is sought by users surfing tourism websites, and with this in mind; Selesti built a bespoke content management system for Wheatacre Hall Barns enabling them to add as many inner pages as they require, all based on signed off design templates, with rules in the code to ensure all content is on brand and web safe at all times.

The content management system offers Search Engine Optimisation tools as standard with Selesti websites - with Page titles, Meta descriptions, keywords and user-friendly URLs prompted for when adding all new pages.
