NHS Lincolnshire Learning Academy Training Website

Having worked with the NHS since 2002, we have been well aware of the stringent, immovable deadlines and guidelines imposed on any project with them. The rebrand and redevelopment of their Learning Academy website was no exception and the challenge was once again met with the enthusiasm we have for any of our projects.

Our role was to completely redesign and develop their training management website from scratch, an invaluable tool for which all Lincolnshire NHS staff (and beyond) use to ensure they have the correct training allocated and scheduled as part of their requirements.

Very strict brand guidelines had to be met when we designed their new site, not simply from a corporate perspective but also accessibility given the wide range of users to the site.

New features to the site include an interactive calendar linked to user-defined courses, comprehensive approval voting system for training with auto-detection of remaining spaces within courses to ensure no overcrowding.

One of the biggest tasks was to integrate the NHS ESR (Electronic Staff Record) system with the website. This was no mean feat we can assure you, this involved some clever people doing some very clever things to get it working right first time.

Meticulous project planning ensured this project was delivered from start to finish within a scary 6 week deadline. Due to our awesomeness, we managed it and have one very happy client as a result.
