VirtualGym TV is a unique and cutting edge way of keeping fit online. The client approached us to deliver not only a visually stunning design, but a whole range of complex functionality to support the business.

The site allows users to register to download fitness sessions and watch live streaming video as the instructor presents them. Users are able to browse by fitness type and view the coming days and weeks and schedule sessions to record automatically with the Download Manager application which was developed to support the large number of files the member downloads.

The client has full control over the content of the site and videos appearing on the site are encoded to flash video making them even more portable.

Since the launch of the site we’ve added a number of site improvements such as offering customers even more choice to download iPod, Mobile phone and hi-res DVD versions of the fitness sessions.

The site continues to evolve and has enjoyed extensive media coverage, we were lucky enough to be features on the BBC’s flagship technology and media programme - 'Click' - in May 2008.
