E-Commerce Clothing Website for Urban Couture

As far as e-commerce projects go, Urban Couture was one of the most challenging to date. Armed with a deadline more evil than Satan himself, we set about designing and developing this couture clothing website with some death defying features.

Given the timescales, we opted for a Magento build which we pimped until the cows came home. The site is fully loaded with some pretty nifty ecommerce stuff, upselling, promotional tools, ‘Just in’ products to showcase the latest garments, integrated WordPress blog and powerful product import – far more wide reaching than your standard Magento.

Another key requirement was the ability for the store owners to create seller accounts for designers to build their own pages and upload products to them. Sales from seller accounts were tracked and commission paid accordingly.

We also advised on Internet Marketing and SEM campaigns to help drive more traffic and sales to the site. This was especially important given the huge range of clothing and garments on offer.

Lets not forget the brand development we did for these guys too, it was a tough choice but the simplicity of their chosen logo is working wonders to raise awareness of the brand and concept.
