SeaChange, the arts development and promotion agency for the borough of Great Yarmouth, are the proud owners of a brand new website, designed and developed by Selesti.
The Norfolk based organisation have been delivering creative projects through professional artists and working with local people for over a decade; our task was to deliver them an online home that looked and felt as creative as the offline work they've helped become a reality.
On top of the demanding design brief - a complete branding project was to be based on what we provided for the website - we were asked to build a site full of technology. For starters it boasts multi lingual capabilities - this enables SeaChange to bolt-on an unlimited number new language versions as and when they require, with no dependence on Selesti or re-designing work to be carried out.
Another key area was the important on interactivity, which we addressed through the provision of polls and enabling user generated content on all event and project detail pages.
The focus across the website is showcasing projects and events they've been responsible for in the community. We offered several options for how to ensure their prominence including video content which via their content management system their administrative staff can embed or upload.
Selesti were also responsible for designing the new SeaChange email marketing and newsletter template. Whenever a visitor signs up on the website, they will automatically be added to a subscriber list in a user friendly and functionality-rich newsletter distribution system which we've integated the site seamlessly with. This offers the organisation's staff complete management of newsletter subscribers and can insert and amend content, sending branded professionally design mailouts time after time with no ongoing design fees.
There are many other examples of us working for local organisations to deliver them digital marketing solutions, such as our many projects for Norfolk County Council, Norwich Lanes and the forthcoming Cancer Research UK Charity Ball to name but a few.
