New NHS Smoke Free Website For Stoptober
NHS Smoke Free Norfolk presented us with a clear vision for their new website - to convey their positive message that quitting smoking is a good thing, and a beneficial lifestyle change.
The target was set, we needed to launch the website ahead of Stoptober - Smoke Free’s national campaign fronted by Bill Bailey and Rhod Gilbert amongst others. Stoptober aims to help people quit smoking during October for 28 days as it means they are 5 times more likely to stop for good!
Before long our design team had worked their magic in Sketch, with bright and welcoming colours and some creative bespoke illustrations. We planned to fill the site with flat graphics full of personality that complimented the Smoke Free team’s encouraging text; not a nasty ‘shock-factor’ image in sight!
The intuitive user experience encourages the audience to browse the Health Timeline and discover the Cost Calculator, inspiring the reader, and reinforcing the theme of a fantastic lifestyle change they are about to embark upon.
The site centres around both informing the viewer, and motivating them to contact the experts at Smoke Free Norfolk to help them begin this journey. The map integration enables the user to find a clinic in Norfolk near them, and the site also connects the audience with the Smoke Free App.
Smokefreenorfolk.nhs.uk was built using Wordpress, a well suited, flexible platform for a stylish brochure style. The project was carried out following our tried and tested process; refined over a decade. This meant we were all done on time (actually a little bit early, but who are we to boast).
