Our newest Digital Account Executive is a product of our Apprenticeship scheme. Tom McNulty joined us last October, and after a year of training and support has now become a permanent, key member of the team.
An apprenticeship gives candidates with little or no agency experience the opportunity to learn in our environment, helping senior staff on live projects, supporting real clients and gaining an understanding of how Selesti aims to exceed their expectations, however high. Taking on apprentices and work experience forms a key part of our Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
Tom has graduated from answering the phone professionally and making tea excellently to managing his own projects and small client portfolio, a fantastic development in 12 months from a standing start. As part of his first year he’s attained a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Marketing (QCF), being allotted time during office hours each month to pass several exams and complete coursework, overseen by a representative from City College Norwich.
