We’re happy to announce that here at Selesti we’ve expanded our Search team, with the addition of Keir Harness as a Search Marketing Executive. Keir joins us from Yodelay, with 5 years of experience in the field of SEO and digital marketing, adding yet more knowledge to the search business we acquired from OMG last year.
Keir’s specialty is dealing with the changes that can occur when websites are hit by Google’s Panda or Penguin algorithm updates, something that he has managed and worked to resolve across a wide range of industries. He just loves to immerse himself in Analytics, discovering how users behave on websites of all kinds and reporting this back to clients in order to improve and focus their online presence.
In his own words, Keir sees that Digital Marketing and SEO “is not rocket science. However the devil is in the detail, you need a healthy balance of data and creative insight to create a commercially successful online presence”. This is what he brings to Selesti, a pragmatic and motivated approach to digital that will benefit our clients both old and new.
However, the internet is not just a professional interest for Keir, he also spends much of his time outside of work researching how the web is used, how it has changed, and how this could affect us. He just loves to get into the philosophy and psychology of the internet, understanding how it can be used to benefit everyone, and has often written pieces on the subject to be published across a number of industry websites and blogs.
Keir is a digital marketing guru through and through, and we are looking forward to seeing how his positive approach to Search Marketing benefits our clients in the future.
