Selesti to work with footballing Legend Dion Dublin

Dion Dublin is launching a new instrument called the Dube and he has chosen Selesti for the digital marketing of the brand and product range. The Ex-Norwich City, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Leicester (to name but a few) footballer has invented and overseen the development of the new multi-faced "Dube" which offers percussionists an impressive variety of sounds as well as looking extremely stylish.

Stars have already begun ordering them for recording sessions and live tours, from iconic musicians such as jazz mogul Courtney Pine to multi-platform entertainers like Radio 1's (Comedy) Dave Vitty.

Regular media appearances from the popular former England international and Sky Sports pundit will ensure high interest and traffic to the newly developed site, which will no doubt experience spikes as and when Dion promotes the product specifically on television and radio, which at the moment is expected to commence in earnest in early 2010.

The final touches to the finished product are currently being applied, with attention to detail incredibly important with considerations like cases, handles and display stands all in hand. Selesti will be developing the branding, designing the website and managing search marketing, social media strategy and of course adding functionality to the online ordering process as supply and demand grows.

The project is in briefing and planning stage, and the scope is likely to include Flash animation, copywriting, SEO & PPC search marketing, along with a comprehensive design brief, ensuring that the unique style of the Dube's appearance is reflected in its online identity.

Selesti, being based in Norwich, are naturally delighted to be working with someone who is locally revered as a living legend, after two spells with the football club in the city, the second of which ending with the coveted Barry Butler Player of the year award, won in recognition as much for his efforts that season as for appreciation of a career which spanned two decades and over 600 club appearances.
