The packs were to include cycling jerseys but unfortunately the charity did not have the funds to supply all of them. As a cycling enthusiast and animal welfare activist, our MD Ollie became aware of their predicament he agreed to help sponsor them.
Support Adoption For Pets is a registered charity based in the North West of England, near Manchester. Their mission is to help give abandoned and homeless small animals a second chance at happiness. The Selesti team have been working with them for over 4 years on web builds, digital marketing and social media management, winning many high-profile awards.
Ollie has recently completed Mt Fuji Epic, a cycling challenge he set himself and completed solo and unsupported in July 2016. His aim was cycle up Mt Fuji as many times as possible in 10 days. He cycled up the volcano 15 times in total, 3 times on one day. He covered 700 miles with a total ascent of 80,246ft in that time and cycled and climbed to the summit too. He did this to raise awareness and funds for another animal welfare organisation, Ric O'Barry's Dolphin Project who campaign for the protection and welfare of ceteceans worldwide.
Starting in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, RideLondon-Surrey 100 participants will complete a 100-mile route through London and into Surrey’s stunning countryside, before returning to finish on The Mall – the same route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics
The fourth annual event will take place over the weekend of Saturday 30 July and Sunday 31 July 2016.
