Bare Naked Foods

Ross Mendham secured investment from Peter Jones and an immovable deadline was set. We had to produce an eCommerce site to coincide with his Dragons Den episode airing.

Bare Naked Foods
Selesti went beyond the call of duty and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone that is looking for new ideas and a superb service.

Getting to work

The brief was to produce a mobile-responsive, clean and uncluttered website, utilising a minimalistic product purchase user journey.

We called upon our extensive (and award winning) knowledge of eCommerce UX, web design and development.

There's nothing like a looming “transmission date” to focus the mind and meet your deadlines (we actually delivered three days early).

Bare Naked Foods

Nationwide exposure

The high level of traffic expected straight after launch made this project truly unique to work on. There aren't many brand new websites placed in front of 1.9 million potential visitors days after going live.

Knowing many of the first visitors would be relaxing in front of the box, it was essential to nail the responsive web design; so visitors enjoyed a seamless experience from the comfort of their sofa using tablets, iPhone or Android devices.

Works Beautifully on Mobile

Landing on the BareNaked Foods website, visitors are immediately greeted with products to buy alongside high resolution photography of the food in context. We minimised the steps from arrival to checkout to help CRO and mobile customers.

Contextual Selling

As this video shows, we wanted to focus on the products in context for their potential users. The high resolution lifestyle photography and fantastic recipes enabled us to do this.

Adding colour

Whilst the noodles are a winning product, they're fairly transparent.... This eCommerce site uses colour and creative styling to give the products a more creative aspirational feel than if they were just sat in their packaging.

Bespoke eCommerce Content Management.

The functionality of this website was delivered via a customised version of our own Content Management System, ‘CMS HQ’. This gives Ross Mendham and his team the ability to manage orders, products, prices, offers and website content without any technical knowhow required, or paying us for development time. Any new content added to the site is inserted using set parameters and templates, so the team doesn’t need to worry about ensuring everything is on brand – CMS HQ does it for them.

Knowing that many of the first visitors would be relaxing in front of the box, nailing the responsive web design was essential to ensure that visitors enjoyed a seamless experience from the comfort of their sofa using tablets, iPhone or Android devices.
