The challenge

A key objective for Hallmark was to replace its complex recruitment process and launch a dedicated, responsive website for all job vacancies. Hallmark also wanted to challenge misconceptions around working in the care industry, and highlight how rewarding a career with Hallmark can be — so we invited our client to our Norwich office for a day to give the project the Supercharged treatment.

The approach

We set up Supercharged teams, blending digital skill-sets within the office and placing a Hallmark representative on each one, and — after a breakfast briefing — started talking through ideas. Over the course of the day, each team mocked up its vision for the Hallmark recruitment website, planned a supporting digital marketing campaign, and put together a presentation including research, ideas, and a demonstration of the value it would bring.

It was a great learning opportunity for the Hallmark team, too: we shared knowledge, discussed best practice and digital marketing tips, and came up with a number of different ways to help Hallmark achieve its ambitions.

Each Supercharged team had such great ideas, Hallmark put them all into production. The final brief for the recruitment site drew from all the ideas pitched on the day — which just shows how twenty heads can be better than one!

The result

Hallmark’s Supercharged Day led to the creation of a bespoke, responsive, and search-friendly recruitment site that seamlessly integrates with the API of the existing recruitment platform. Visitors can learn about life at Hallmark, and find and apply for jobs with ease, whatever device they’re using.
