SearchNorwich 2 is a free marketing meetup in Norwich for anyone who wants to learn more about search marketing, network and share their knowledge.

Each SearchNorwich event places a charity in the spotlight and this time East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) will be raising awareness of the Nook Appeal.

In Elodie’s talk, she will discuss how search has evolved and finish off with actionable tips to help inform your content strategy and improve the structure of your website.

Content with more ‘Crunch' will cover:

  • Why traditional keyword research is out and content clustering is in
  • How Google’s search algorithm has evolved over the years, and how you can use this understanding to build a solid site structure for users and search
  • Why site architecture plays an important role in SEO helping to indicate content relevancy
  • Actionable advice on how to structure your site and which free tools to use

Attendees will take away ideas to begin structuring their own content with, as well as how to communicate the value of this activity within their organisation.

Elodie is passionate about all things SEO and the relationship between digital marketing disciplines:

To me, things like UX, IA, development are not disconnected disciplines — there are lots of ingredients that make up the digital marketing cake, and a strong foundation certainly makes for a great rise.

It’s always super exciting to see structural changes that focus on the user, have such massive impact, even the seemingly simple ones.

Who should attend?

Content with more ‘Crunch' is designed for people that have produced great content but don't understand why it isn't being seen, as well as those planning to create great content. The talk is an opportunity for attendees to update their knowledge of content strategy and develop skills that can be tested out on their next project.

Elodie is excited to take part in SearchNorwich 2 after enjoying the first event:

The speakers were fantastic and the setup fun and approachable for all levels. I am most looking forward to hopefully sharing a bit of knowledge that inspires someone to take a look at optimising their content and go on to achieve great results with it.

Oh, and did we mention there’s pizza?

Also talking at the event is Glasgow based SEO expert Craig Campbell who has 16 years experience in the industry. He will be discussing blackhat SEO. Craig regularly speaks at industry events such as SMX Milan, BrightonSEO and MB Summit.
